Today's Doctor Who's Day topic is favorite guest star. The show always manages to have lots of great guest stars and as I looked over a list of them, I realized I could never pick just one. Instead, I'm sharing several of my favorite guest stars.
First of all, you'll notice I do not have Alex Kingston as River Song on the list. Not because I don't love her, but because I don't consider her a proper guest star. She's been established as a regular character in The Doctor's life. I think she should really get her name in the opening credits when she's on the show.
Here are my favorite Doctor Who guest stars, in no particular order:
James Corden as Craig Owens in The Lodger and Closing Time. Two very amusing episodes.
Rupert Graves as Riddell in Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. I love him on Sherlock and this character was fun.
Mark Sheppard as Canton Everett Delaware III in The Impossible Astronaut and Day of the Moon. He seems to pop up on every show I watch...Leverage, Firefly..I was just bummed he didn't get to use his real accent.

Sunday Social - Getting Deep
What is your ideal way to relax?
On the couch with my husband, watching TV or a movie while we both putter around on our laptops. Lately I've been addicted to playing Civ IV in the evenings.
Where is your favorite place to be?
At home with my husband for relaxing. For fun, Disney World! It's my happy place.
Who do you consider your biggest role model?
My mom and grandma who are both strong independent women. As for celebrities, it's definitely the Duchess of Cambridge. She's such a great model for being a true lady and I just love her style.
What does your life look like in 3 years?
First child is a toddler, and baby #2 is either on the way or being planned. Probably looking into getting a bigger house. Hopefully both of us have better jobs. Hopefully I'm a full time teacher again with my own classroom. I'd love to be teaching at the school connected with our church.
If you could go back and change one decision what would it be?
My only true regret? Not getting a Florida resident annual pass to Walt Disney World while I lived in Tampa. I could have been spending my weekends in my happy place and then maybe the stress of my job wouldn't have made me quite so miserable.
What is your biggest accomplishment in life thus far?
Can I pull a Benedict Cumberbatch and say, "I wish I could say children."
No seriously, I'll say graduating from the college I wanted to attend since the second grade in four years with honors. I worked my butt off for that, I'm going to be proud of that for my life.

Doctor Who's Day - Favorite GIF
Today's Doctor Who's topic is Favorite GIF. No problem, I just headed to Tumblr, the home of awesome GIFs. Except it turns out, that all the GIFs I've ever "liked" are Sherlock or Benedict Cumberbatch related. I have issues.
But, as I was searching for Doctor Who GIFs, I remembered something awesome. And so I give you, my favorite Doctor Who GIF:
Isn't is awesome?

No nonsense Tights and Leggings Review
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of No nonsense. All opinions are 100% mine.
I'd never consider myself a fashionista. If I had to categorize my fashion style, I'd probably say comfortable. While I like to look nice and professional at work, I'm still all about feeling comfortable in my clothes. I only just recently discovered how comfortable a pair of leggings can be. And bonus, they are trendy and cute! By adding some leggings to an outfit, I still feel comfortable, but can also feel like a fashionista.
I was given the opportunity to try new No nonsense tights and leggings recently. I was sent a pair of No nonsense denim leggings in Dark Denim and a pair of No nonsense fashion tights in Rose Floral Openwork.
I tried on the leggings right away and was impressed with how well they fit and how comfortable they were. I could definitely get used to wearing these! Because I've never had a pair of denim leggings before, I don't really have any tops in my closet to wear with them, yet. But, I'm on the lookout for tops and good sales, so I'm sure I'll be sporting them regularly soon. In the meantime, I put together an outfit using Polyvore that I'd love to wear.
Personally, I feel that leggings are not pants, so they should be worn with tunics and dresses. I love this plaid tunic shirt I found at Modcloth and I think denim leggings look great with boots.
The No nonsense tights in Rose Floral Openwork that I received are very pretty. I can't wait to pair them with a dress or skirt and wear them to church. I love to wear tights with skirts with dresses in the winter. They're a great way to dress up and still feel warm and comfortable. Unfortunately, since the tights are openwork, they aren't very appropriate for Midwest winters. But, I'll save them for a little warmer day when spring is around the corner.
Here's a cute outfit I put together for the tights.
I think the floral tights are a great way to jazz up a solid dress and add some interest to the outfit.
Clearly, No nonsense leggings and tights are great additions to outfits that won't sacrifice comfort. And they don't break the bank either! No nonsense leggings and tights are affordable and can easily be found at food and drug stores in addition to mass market retailers. No need for extra errands to add some style and comfort to your wardrobe!
And No nonsense recently teamed up with the bestselling author of "I Have Nothing to Wear!" Jill Martin. Jill, who is also seen on The Today Show for their Ambush Makeovers, is assisting No nonsense in teaching women how to wear their new colorful tights and leggings. Check out this video below for more.

Doctor Who's Day - Favorite Doctor Gadget
Tuesday is Doctor Who's Day!
I know I've been terrible about actually doing this and now it's been two months since my last Doctor Who's Day post. But I'm almost done with the prompts and I promise I will finish and then when I start the Sherlock ones (you know I have to do those) I will be consistent.
Anyway, today's topic is favorite Doctor gadget. The obvious choice here is the Sonic Screwdriver, which is awesome and I wish I had one. But, I can't go for the obvious.
No, my favorite Doctor gadget is the Timey Wimey Detector. After all, it goes "ding" when there's stuff!
It also gets bonus points for making me laugh during the scariest episode ever, Blink.

Sunday Social - Blogging
What is the name of your blog? How long have you been blogging?
My blog is Argyle Love and I've been blogging for a little over 2 years.
Why do you blog?
I blog because I like to share with others and I like the creative outlet it provides. I like to connect with people from around the world.
What is the first blog you ever followed?
Oh wow, I've been reading blogs for a long time. I think the first blog that really made me want to follow blogs was ljcfyi. She's been blogging since 2000 and I've probably been reading her blog that long.
What is your favorite post you wrote in 2012?
My Experience at the 2012 Vera Bradley Outlet Sale
It was my most read post of 2012. I don't blog about Vera Bradley very often, but whenever I do, those posts get tons of hits. I'm a huge Vera Bradley fan, so I like sharing info with other fans and I love to be able to share my experiences at the Outlet Sales with those that can't go. I feel very lucky that I live close enough to be able to go every year.
What are your blogging goals for 2013?
- Be more consistent in posting
- Get more followers
- Comment more on other blogs
- Get more sponsored posts/giveaway opportunities
- Make some money from the blog
Everyday Trish - She's my bestie, so I have to share her blog! Plus, she has cute pictures of babies and dogs.
The Bloggess - Jenny never fails to make me laugh, plus she's a big Doctor Who fan.
The Londoner - I love reading about Rose's life in the UK and her travel adventures. She always has lots of great photos, plus she's the inventor of Slutty Brownies!
And a few others I have to mention...
What Kate Wore - My go-to source for all things Duchess of Cambridge. She's my fashion idol, so I love knowing what she's worn and getting ideas for my own closet.
Oh My Vera! - A great source of Vera Bradley information
The Pioneer Woman - I love her, enough said.
People I Want to Punch in the Throat - Jen says what we're all thinking.

Birthday Celebrations
Since my birthday was Sunday, I thought I'd do a little recap just to let you know how I celebrated.
On Saturday, my mom took me to dinner at my favorite local wings restaurant.
I got some nice presents from her and she even picked up some chocolate cream pie to enjoy for dessert.
On Sunday, my actual birthday, M and I did our traditional birthday movie.
This year, I chose to see The Hobbit. It was very good and I'm looking forward to the next one. I'm also probably the only person who got excited to see The Necromancer appear for all of 2 seconds. I then proceeded to point at the screen excitedly when Benedict Cumberbatch's name appeared in the credits. I may have issues.
Afterwards, we met my mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and my mother at my favorite local Mexican restaurant. We had a great dinner and I got to enjoy a delicious frozen margarita. I haven't had one of those in awhile.
We all came back to our house after dinner for cake and more presents. M called our usual baker and gave him a theme for my cake, but unfortunately, he wasn't specific enough and it didn't turn out the way he wanted. It still looks good and it tastes great though.
He asked for Sherlock, but neglected to mention that he meant Benedict Cumberbatch Sherlock. Oh well, it's still good!
And since today is January 9th, I want to wish a Happy Birthday to one of my favorite people in the world, my fashion idol, The Duchess of Cambridge.
We were born only three days apart...clearly we are meant to be best friends!
I have to include my favorite picture ever of her and Prince William. They are so adorable!

Sunday Social 2013
It's Sunday! So of course, it's time for Sunday Social. It also happens to be my birthday today, so thanks for stopping by!
I really want to cut back on the sweets and pop and eat more fruits and vegetables and drink more water. It's always hard to do this at the beginning of the year since there's leftover Christmas sweets and then birthday cake, but I'm trying hard.
Any workout tips to get us back in shape after the Holidays?
I am the worst person to ask for workout tips. I'm the girl that thinks she's going to start working out, does it a couple times and then finds an excuse to stop. My goal is to get back into doing any physical activity and then stick with it by motivating myself with the end result and smaller goals along the way. I like doing Just Dance on the Wii and the 30 Day Shred. (Well, I don't really enjoy the 30 Day Shred, but I do it once in awhile.)
Favorite thing you did over the Holidays?
Just spending time with family and resting up on my two weeks off. I'm finally feeling healthy again after that terrible pink eye and cold combo. Just in time to go back and get something else from the munchkins!
What is something you hope that you accomplish in 2013 that you did not in 2012?
Get pregnant. This is my year, I can feel it!
Name 3 things happening this year you are excited about and why
1. Vera Bradley A Colorful Day in Fort Wayne - I have been dying to go to this for a couple years now and it's going to be practically in my backyard. I will be there!
And I've got nothing else. This year is just beginning...I have no idea what will happen, but I'm looking forward to finding out.
Do you plan to change any of your eating habits in the new year?
