Christmas Day 16

What's your favorite Christmas tradition?

My favorite Christmas tradition is Midnight Mass. (Which is actually at 11:00.) I used to love going to church on Christmas Eve before I converted because at the end, we'd light candles and sing Silent Night. The first verse was in English, the second verse in German (lots of German speakers in a Mennonite church with a high population of senior citizens, including my grandparents) and then we'd hum until everyone had filed out.

Now that I'm Catholic, I go to Midnight Mass on Christmas eve. I love being in our beautiful church and listening to the Christmas story and singing Christmas hymns with the organ and choir.
