Free Meals for Veterans

You know I love a good deal and I firmly believe that nobody deserves a good deal more than the brave men and women that serve our country. Tomorrow is Veterans Day and there are many great restaurants that are offering those who have served a free meal.

My brother-in-law is a former Marine, so I've been doing some research and I thought I share them here for others. So if you know a Vet, take them out for their free meal and say Thanks!

Texas Roadhouse is offering a free lunch to all Veterans and Active Military from 11am to 2pm. They get one free entree from a list and free soft drink. The list has 10 choices and does include a steak.

Applebee's is offering a free meal to all Veterans and Active Military all day on Friday. They get one free entree from a list of seven choices. It does not include a beverage.

Chili's is offering a free meal from 11am to 5pm on Friday. They get one free entree from a list of seven choices. It does not include a beverage.

Hooters is offering 10 free wings to Veterans or Active Duty Personnel with a drink purchase all day Friday.

Outback Steakhouse is offering a free Bloomin' Onion and a soft drink to all Veterans and Active Military.

T.G.I. Friday's is offering a buy one get one free deal for all Veterans and Active Duty Personnel. Buy one entree and they'll get another one free.

Olive Garden is offering a free meal all day on Friday. They can chose from a list of six entrees that all include breadsticks and choice of soup or salad.

These are only a few of the many offers out there for Veteran's Day. I encourage you to contact your favorite restaurant and ask them if they are doing a special for Veterans if you don't see them here. Even our local grocery store deli is offering a free lunch to all Veterans, so you may be surprised where you can find a free meal.

And even if you can't take them out for a free meal, don't forget to say Thanks!
